The History of Timbertruss
Timbertruss Geelong has evolved from being a small family business employing six people in 1989 to our company now being one of Australia's largest Truss, Wall-Frame and Posi-Strut floor joist manufacturers. Timbertruss now employ over 250 staff and have three production facilities and a Melbourne office. All production facilities operate 2 shifts daily producing weekly approximately 100 truss roofs, 12000 lineal metres of wall-frames and 6000 lineal metres of posi-struts.
The growth of the company has occurred in three stages in 1997, 2000 and again in 2002. The growth has occurred in response to our customers needs and to the industry conversion of building by using conventional truss roof and framing methods to now installing truss roofs and pre-fabricated wall-frames made in a factory environment. Timbertruss continue to explore alternative products, design techniques, machinery and technology to improve our product and efficiency to enable our company to increase its production capacity further.
